The FOURTH MAN Project

DANIEL 3:25

“Look!” He answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

The Fourth Man Project isn't a new idea. As told in Daniel 3 about the three young men (Shadrach, Meshach & Abed-Nego) who refused to cave to the pressures of the kingdom in which they lived, they were sentenced to death. They were singled out and an attempt to turn them into an example of what happens when people disobeyed the king was underway. The death penalty of choice for this king was a smelting hot furnace that actually killed at least one of the men whose job it was to place the three young men into their death chamber. As is relayed in verse 25, not only were the three young men not burned, dead or in agony; but it turns out that a fourth man had appeared along with them. This fourth man was Jesus. Long before Jesus walked and talked as a human on the earth,

He showed up in solidarity with their irreversible faith.

Cut to 2020 in the world which we have known and been able to recognize for centuries since, we look around only to see the many kingdoms of this world demanding OUR loyalty. Whether it be the kingdom of social media, the kingdom of government, the kingdom of science, or even the kingdom of corporate Christianity.

People are being told to bow down to LIES or suffer the consequences.

People are being sent to the social media slaughter for not accepting LIES.

And in 2020, in a quite UNUSUAL turn of events,

WE (in Christ) are THE FOURTH MAN.
